ABOUT THE MURAL:
Titled “Lady Jay”, this mural was painted during the 2018 festival and is located on the back patio of Buffalo State Pizza and can be seen walking through the alleyway. The concept for this mural was based on a set of ink and watercolor paintings featuring similar subject matter.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Sabertooth Thomas is a multidisciplinary artist currently based out of Kansas City, MO. The spray can found this artist's hand all the way back in high school and has been a main component in his work throughout the years. He received his Bachelors of Fine Art in Printmaking from the University of Kansas and has since been gracing the streets and people of Kansas City with both murals and tattoos. His range of styles is exemplified by the variety of characters and killer line work.
